She directs the multi-departmental Integrative Oncology Initiative at MemorialCare, to harness the wisdom of complementary medicine alongside conventional cancer treatments to optimize patient outcomes across their lifespan. Dr. Pathak is a certified yoga instructor teaching classes to both patients and staff with a special interest in how trauma and mindfulness affects the ecosystem of medicine. As a breast oncologist, she is committed to ensuring that every woman feels like she has a home for her mind, body, and spirit after a diagnosis of breast cancer. For her own wellness, Dr. Pathak enjoys yoga, painting, singing (trained as a Soprano) and chasing her two sons across the beaches and mountains of Southern California. Dr. Pathak is fluent in Hindi, Nepali, Maithili, and conversational in Spanish and French.
